Matches?
Our club enters teams into the Shropshire Junior Netball League (also known as the Shropshire Central Venue League – CVL).
For the first time this year, for ease of administration, we are including the SJNL fees into members’ subs so there are no additional fees payable to play in the SJNL.
Details of the 2022-23 team fixtures will appear on the links to the right of this page when they are issued.
The Shropshire Junior Netball League matches are held at the Telford Langley School, a regional centre for excellence for Netball in Dawley. The U11 and Division 1 matches are usually scheduled inside whenever possible.

The Telford Langley School Parking
To ease parking difficulties at the venue, the SJNL Administrator has reminded us that there is parking around the school (more details above) including a large public car park on King Street TF4 2AA within easy walking distance.
We are also reminded of the Captain Webb Drive/Meadow Road car park TF4 2H? as shown on this map.
I am unsure of the postcode – I have TF4 2HN. Check the map?
Kit?
Training: Any suitable clothing may be worn for practices/training – for your own comfort, we advise no trackie bottoms and expect you to wear suitable footwear – no plimsolls or fashion trainers please.
Matches: Our online shop at Macron has grown – take a look!
https://www.macronstorenw.co.uk/create/Oswestry-Juniors-Netball-Club?c=6987928
Netball skirts are temporarily removed from the site but should reappear now they are back in stock. Keep checking back if you need to buy one? Remember, order early as items can take up to 12 weeks to come in if they need to restock!
Through Macron’s sponsorship, we are still be able to offer players’ initials and Club Name printed on the reverse of the hoodie free of charge.
VERY IMPORTANT when ordering hoodies online you need to write in the ‘notes section’ ‘Delivered by Andy’ together with the player’s 3 initials. DO NOT PUT INITIALS REQUIRED IN THE ORDER SYSTEM AS IT WILL CHARGE AND DO NOT CLICK ON DELIVERY PLEASE.
Coaches?
We have eight hard-working coaches now; Sian, Hollie and Georgia who are all Level 2 qualified and our Level 1 coaches Caroline, Andrea, Karen, Sally and Rhianne!
We are always looking for extra help so if you have a coaching qualification or would like to train for one please contact us.
Other stuff?
Members should not wear jewellery during training or matches and should keep their fingernails short and safe.
To comply with the Leisure Centre regulations, and to encourage members to focus during training sessions, mobile phones should be turned off whilst members are inside the Leisure Centre.
Oswestry Junior Netball Club was awarded the Bronze award of England Netball Association’s Club Action Planning Scheme (CAPS) in 2009.
